On Rete 4 they give yet another repeat of an episode Jessica Fletcher, She wrote.

I love Jessica. The perfect woman, the one who always knows what to say, cultured, kind, good, friendly, affectionate, intelligent, neither fat nor thin, perfectly educated, always politically correct.

“Did you explain why you made the lowest offer when you heard Better wanted to renovate this house? No, you don't have to be sure that the wall would stay in place so that no one would find out that you had hidden poor Laura inside after burning then you had to…”.

Intuition, elegance, observation, vivacity, Jessica is the perfect investigator, the one who restores the status quo ante in yellows.

An efficient team of authors and screenwriters set up the fiction, wrote the episodes, outlined the characters, defined the details, built crimes and alibis. It is not easy and the episodes of J.F. they are perfect yellows. Yellow is a beloved genre for readers and viewers, but to work it must respond to very specific rules.

I wrote a novel and several short stories following all the classic rules of mystery literature, rules which I will talk about in a future post.

 Avevo ragione, questo legname dell'epoca in cui è stato fabbricata la costruzione…”

A Rete 4 danno l'ennesima replica di un episodio Jessica  Fletcher, She wrote.

Adoro Jessica. La donna perfetta, quella che sa sempre cosa dire, colta, gentile, buona, amichevole, affettuosa, intelligente, né grassa, né magra, perfettamente educata, sempre politicamente corretta.

“Hai detto spiegato il motivo per cui hai fatto l'offerta più bassa quando hai sentito che Better voleva ristrutturare questa casa? No, non devi essere sicuro che la parete sarebbe rimasta sul posto in modo che nessuno scoprisse che dentro avevi nascosto la povera Laura dopo aver bruciato poi hai dovuto…”.

Intuito, eleganza, osservazione, vivacità, Jessica è l’investigatore perfetto, quello che nei gialli ripristina lo status quo ante.  

Un efficiente team di autori e sceneggiatori ha messo in piedi la fiction, scritto gli episodi, delineato i personaggi, definito gli i particolari, costruito delitti e alibi. Non è cosa semplice e gli episodi di J.F. sono gialli perfetti. Il giallo è un genere amatissimo per lettori e spettatori, ma per funzionare deve rispondere a regole ben precise.
